Our Story
Magic City Theatre on Ice was formed in 2016 when the Pelham Civic Complex and Ice Arena and the Birmingham Figure Skating Club hosted the 2016 Theatre on Ice National Championships. We had a great experience at our first TOI Nationals and continued to learn and grow as a team in the following years. In 2018, we won our first National Championship in the Open Division. In 2019 our Open team defended their national title and our Intermdiate Team won silver out of a competitive field of 22 teams. We are so excited to continue to work hard and be leaders in the U.S. Figure Skating TOI community.
Our teams are currently preparing for the U.S. Figure Skating Theatre on Ice National Championship in Wichita, Kansas June 24-27, 2020.
Our goal is to help skaters develop their skating skills, performance, and artistry. Looking to improve your IJS component score or strengthen your performance and confidence? Theatre on Ice can help!
